Some common myths about concrete.

Concrete is always grey

Think of grey as a base color. This is the concrete coming from the redi mix plant.
Concrete can be colored, opening the doors to many different desing choices for both residential and commercial projects.

Concrete is not effected by weather

Yes, poured concrete is absolutely effected by weather, as it needs the proper temperature to cure.
Concrete pour conditions are key to a succesfull outcome.

Concrete is not porous

Yes, concrete is porous once cured and it does absorb water, which most finishes.
Depending on use, sealing concrete provides water resistance.



Aggregate

Materials like gravel, sand, or crushed stone mixed into cement and water to form concrete.

Sealing

A liquid applied to concrete to protect it from moisture, staining, and corrosion.

Curing

The process of maintaining moisture within freshly poured concrete to ensure proper setting and hardening.

Placing

The process of installing (placing) poured concrete to reach a FF and FL, so that the Finisher's can do their job.

Finishing

The process of producing the final concrete finish, depending on final use of surface.
